When every picture has different colors or extreme filters, it is usually a bad sign. Of course we all have different taste, but patterns still appear in long discussions. When I test a new shop I usually start with one or two items instead of a huge order. Trendy pieces are fun, but I only buy them when the price is reasonable. Sharing real world usage stories is often more helpful than any advertisement. Everyone has different expectations, but real photos and detailed comments are useful for everyone.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

For light summer tops I keep to my normal size to avoid a baggy look. If the first order is a disaster, I prefer to move on and not waste time with support. I also check if the lenses have any blue light filter or anti-reflection coating. This is why I like reading and posting on forums and community websites. Sometimes one good quality item is better than five very cheap ones. If they reply politely and give detailed answers, I feel more relaxed. I also check if the store explains how to measure PD and frame size clearly. Clear product descriptions save time and reduce the chance of disappointment.
Hope this helps someone.
