Yelling for someone is emergency behavior. You are not more important or more valuable than someone else. The person you are yelling for is not doing something else. They are doing something. It is important what they are doing. If it is not an emergency you should not yell for someone. You need their attention, you approach them and excuse yourself if you need their attention. Be eye-to-eye.
Would you interrupt a surgeon in the middle of an operation? If so, what would be a reason>?
The person’s attention you seek should not be looked at as less than surgery, and their health and well being needs that respect if you don’t think the video game they are playing does. Jealousy, envy. and self-importance can be destructive if not understood.
Good day.
